Description	Charter members of OU's Phi Beta Kappa. OU President Elmer Bryan is in the middle of the front row. Bryan served as O.U.'s eleventh president, 1921-1934. Edwin Chubb served as acting president twice (1920-1921 and 1934-1935). Edith Wray was a professor of English at Ohio University for 36 years. James Porter was a Professor of Psychology and in 1922 became chairman of the Psychology department where he remained until his retirement. Amos Anderson served on the faculty of Ohio University for over 42 years, including ten years as Chairman of the Psychology department.
